Meredith’s passion for jewelry began when a young girl admired her great-grandmother’s wonderful collection that she had amassed around the world. Her favorite stone is a bold 40-carat aquamarine that her great-grandmother spent years searching for and ordered as a cocktail ring surrounded by diamonds. Gemological Laboratories of America display it in their windows. Meredith was artistically inspired by the beauty of the ring and recalls her mother getting ready for the evening to try on different eye-catching pieces. In particular, Meredith was fascinated by her mother’s Marina B earrings, where the bottom stones were changeable. This then inspired Meredith to create multifunctional and versatile pieces in her own collection.
